Ian began his formal culinary training in Asheville NC at A.B. Tech Culinary and The Grove Park Inn apprenticeship program. He subsequently took positions in North Carolina, New York, Atlanta, and Hilton Head Island before moving to the Forgotten Coast.
Along the coast, he has held Chef Positions at The Owl Café, Verandas Bistro and The Sunset Coastal Grill over the past 19 years.
Ian loves the challenge of creating delicious food to delight patrons using the best of fresh flavors and ingredients. His varied experiences allow him to create menus and events that respect all food preferences and sensitivities, all the while offering the patron a singular dining experience.
